JQSP

The session at the Jewellery Quarter on the 15th September was a lot of fun. We were in a tent outside Joiners newsagents. Gunnar and co kept sending us customers from the shop and many others joined in when walking past.

Urban Coffee Company also sent people our way as well as some free drinks and also did a great group shot. The guys from Pizza Quarter came over, took loads of pics, and then sent us a pizza – very tasty and very welcome in the mid-afternoon!

Neil and Mike at the Big Peg were really supportive (thanks for the electric!) and quite a few workers from the Peg came to see us and take their picture.

Andy Munro and many of the good people from the Jewellery Quarter Development Trust joined in on their way to their own launch.

Student radio journalist Vicky Bourne from BCU interviewed us for a project – you can hear it below.

And luminaries like Dave Harte, Paul Long, Alun Severn (bit of a twisted arm did the trick) and James Yarker dropped in.

Timm was on the camera most of the day and we welcomed Kirsten Bangert, our Dutch placement student, who was getting involved for the first time.

And of course we had a mass visit from IE Design – some great group shots and a particularly stunning action shot by Ollie Leggett – including a table tennis bat and ball and a beady eye.

I’ll post some sample shots when I can but in the meantime the picture above is before we got going.
